The
Truancy Prevention program is a case management process serving
as a short-term collaboration between Northern Home, the Regional
Truancy Courts, schools and families. This collective effort
assists the family in supporting the child's growth and development
while promoting school attendance. Referrals are only accepted
through the Office of Truancy and Delinquency Prevention of
the Department of Human Services.
The Juvenile Justice program provides in-school programs
in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia addressing
the social and behavioral skills of students. Area schools
assess the needs of their students and are offered engaging
life skills programming. |
