Northern
Home for Children believes that all children are entitled to
grow up in families that can provide them with safe, stable
and permanent homes. As such, permanency planning is integral
to every child and family service plan. When all possible options
with the child and his/her family have been explored and exhausted
and it is found to be necessary to permanently remove the child
from the home, an alternative permanent placement will be sought.
The primary goal of the Northern Home Adoption Service is to
ensure safety and permanency for all children in our care.
Northern Home accomplishes the identification of alternative
permanent homes, and the placement of children in those homes,
through an array of services and service supports oriented
toward the best interest of children.
Through our working collaboratively with other agencies and
through the continuum of adoption services that Northern Home
will provide, from recruitment to post-adoption support, Northern
Home strives to provide all waiting children with permanent,
safe and stable homes. |
