Lead Clinician
Summary: A Lead Clinician provides intensive
therapeutic services to a child and family in a school, camp
or home setting. Under the supervision of the School Based
Therapeutic Services (STS) Clinical Manager, the lead clinician
leads the team to develop an individualized treatment plan
for each child; provides all authorized therapy in a child-centered,
strength-based manner; monitors and updates the treatment
plan; and provides and documents case management activities
Requirements:
Education:
- Minimum Requirement – Master’s Degree in
a clinical mental health discipline
Experience:
- At least two (2) years experience in the mental health
field.
- Excellent working knowledge of clinical issues relating
to children, adolescents or families.
- Familiar with multiple child serving systems (e.g. education,
juvenile justice, child welfare, mental health, drug and
alcohol, health care and vocational rehab).
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate and interact with all staff.
- Ability to give clear and concise oral and written instructions.
- Working knowledge of the Behavioral Health system
