Technician / Administrative Assistant
Summary:
Under the supervision of the Management Assistant, the
Data Technician (DT) will provide oversight to the Admission,
Ongoing Treatment, and Discharge of clients receiving treatment
in the Behavior Health Division. The DT will develop, design,
analyze, and maintain all Behavior Health Division Client
Data Bases. This will include input of necessary information
into the CARE billing database. The DT is expected to work
closely with all BHS Department Managers and Supervisors
to assure that clients are admitted in a timely manner,
attend scheduled appointments, have up-to-date consents
for treatment, remain eligible and authorized for services,
receive necessary and prescribed services, and are appropriately
discharged with clear aftercare plans.
Additionally the DT assures that the consumer's needs are
coordinated, among other program, agency departments, outside
agencies and funding source.
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum-Bachelor's Degree in
the Mental Health field.
Experience: Minimum two years case management/counseling
experience with children and families. Minimum one year
of management/supervisory experience.
Special Skills: Familiar with multiple
child-serving systems (e.g. education, juvenile justice,
child welfare, mental health, drug and alcohol, health care,
and vocational rehabilitation). Knowledge of managed care
systems. Ability to maintain Client Data Bases.
