STS Clinical Manager
Summary: The STS Clinical Manager directs,
communicates, monitors, and supervises all of the administrative,
fiscal and clinical processes of designated School Therapeutic
Services Programs. The STS Clinical Manager is responsible
for assuring high quality in all phases of the program, including
the initial authorization and reauthorization process, the
treatment planning process, and program processes.
The STS Clinical Manager is also responsible for supervising
the provision of any authorized BHRS “wraparound”
services authorized through Northern Home for Children. He/She
carries out these functions by directing and supporting the
Clinicians, BHW staff, MT, BSC and Case Manager in delivering
superior service.
The STS Clinical Manager is responsible for monitoring the
budget, census and staffing for their programs to insure the
program is meeting all fiscal requirements. This position
reports to the Director of STS services
Requirements:
Education:
- Minimum Requirement – Master’s Degree in
a clinical mental health discipline
Experience:
- At least five (5) years experience in health, social service
organizations.
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Excellent working knowledge of clinical issues relating
to children, adolescents or families.
- Working knowledge of managed care principles.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate and interact with all staff.
- Ability to give clear and concise oral and written instructions.
- Working knowledge of the Behavioral Health system
