BHRS Clinical Manager

Summary:

A Clinical Manager of the Wraparound Department directs, communicates, monitors, leads and supervises the clinical and operational processes of a designated unit (model). This unit is comprised of BSC’s, MT’s and TSS. The Clinical Manager assures that all referrals assigned to the unit receive timely and appropriate services beginning with the assessment completed by the clinical supervisor, the evaluation completed either directly or by the psychologist and/or the psychiatrist assigned to the unit.

Services are delivered in accordance with the treatment plan, which is generated by the evaluation, and follows the clinical recommendations of the psychiatrist and/psychiatrist. Under the supervision of the Director of BHRS Services, he/she provides clinical leadership to the Wraparound program and assures that all clinical services are delivered in accordance with the highest quality and standards. The Clinical Manager is the clinical point person for clinical concurrent (utilization) reviews with CBH and Magellan.

The Clinical Manager directly supervises the treatment team (BSC, MT and TSS). By identifying and addressing key issues that affect the daily functioning of the consumer, the Clinical Manager ensures that all aspects of treatment are integrated into a holistic plan. The Clinical Manager liaisons with family, school, residential, and community resources for the services needed. The Clinical Manager conducts Intake Assessments with families/children to determine level of service needed. The Clinical Manager also is required to attend case coordination sessions.

Requirements:

Education: Minimum Requirement - Master's Degree. Licensed as a Psychologist or a licensed Social Worker needed to conduct and complete assessments.

Experience: Six years experience in behavioral health and social service organizations. At least three years supervisory experience. Excellent working knowledge of clinical issues relating to children, adolescents and families. Good working knowledge of other systems that affect the Behavioral Health consumer.
