Administrative Assistant Northlink (Delaware County)
Summary: Under the direction of the Director
of Health Information Management/Northlink Director, the Administrative
Assistant is responsible for maintaining all Northlink files,
as described below, in compliance with the state and city
regulations.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the development
and implementation of a variety of tracking systems for North
Link. He/She carries out these functions by billing, filing
and assuring that all clinical documents are in a coordinated
system which adheres to funding source guidelines.
The Administrative Assistant for Northlink Services interacts
directly with various directors and supervisors to assure
that administrative, billing and revenue goals are being achieved.
Education: Minimum requirement is a high
school diploma.
Experience:
- Two (2) years administrative experience in a social service
agency or medical facility.
- One (1) year experience billing a Managed Care Organization
Special Skills:
- Preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Knowledge of statutes relating to Behavioral Health services
