Tutorial Club
Volunteers help meet the educational and tutoring needs of the students, ages 10 to14. The tutor helps students in subjects such as English, math, and science. Tutoring hours are from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Special Skills Club
This program is designed for volunteers with "Special Skills" who would meet the respective needs of the children in our Residential, Behavioral Health, and Foster Care programs. Special skilled volunteers may be recruited to teach workshop programs in areas such as computers, arts & crafts, horticulture, theater, and music. Volunteers usually work between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM with our residential program or between the hours of 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM with our intensive after-school program.

Juniors and Seniors Support Club
This program is designed for volunteers of all ages. Volunteers support staff with duties in specific departmental areas. Volunteer duties include clerical, filing, receptionist, maintenance, and recreational. Volunteers usually work between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Transportation Club
This program is designed for volunteers who can transport children to and from various destinations that help the child meet his or her medical, dental, and health related needs. Volunteers usually work between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Mentoring Club
This program would help with the special needs of the children in our Residential and Foster Care programs who have no or few home visitations and could greatly benefit from an admirable and respected mentor. Mentors choose their schedule, usually meeting with their child between the hours of 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday or between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday.

Volunteer Student Internships
Designed for students who need accreditation through their respected universities. A letter requesting internship must be sent to Northern Home Children and Family Services by your department dean or professor.
