Timberlane Middle School shows their holiday spirit

Timberlane Middle School families, children, and teachers came to Northern Home for Children with 8 car loads of over 500 gifts from the Middle School.

Each gift was picked out with care and the students made their own wrapping paper using everything from cloth to drawing on construction paper. Their generosity was greatly appreciated.

"We were really happy to help Northern Home for Children this year and also used the opportunity as a way of re-enforcing social responsibility which we teach the children through various projects." -Timberlane Middle School Teacher.

“I had so much fun knowing that I could help a kid like myself have a great Christmas.” - Timberlane Middle School student

Trevor Bonney called Northern Home because he wanted to organize “a small Christmas Toy Drive” for the children of Northern Home. The small drive turned into a combined effort of Pre Med Society, PA Society, and the Kanbar Campus Center and many other Philadelphia University organizations.

The drive numbered over 300 gifts beautifully wrapped and labeled by gender and age. These gifts were given out to the children and families who were new to Northern Home for Children.

“It was really fun to get everyone involved an more and more momentum built around it. We are all very pleased with the amount and quality of what people donated.” - Mr.Trevor Bonney.
