On Wednesday February 11th,
2009 Sigma Gamma Rho came out and held a workshop for
our afterschool partial hospitalization program. The workshop
consisted of many different activities encouraging self
confidence and respect. The following is a list of the
activities that the girls participated in:
1. “Mirror station”- students will look into
the mirror and name three things they like about them
selves.
2. “A piece of who I am” Collage Station-
the girls cut out pictures and words that represent them.
3. “Dance/Drama Station”- they created a short,
easy dance piece that will be performed at the end of
the program.
4. “Cookie/Cake Decorating Station”- the girls
will decorate the cakes and cookies.
5. “Crown Station”- the girls will make a
crown of goals for the 2009 and write three steps they
need to take to get there on the points of the crown.
